Results of our last competition
Entries should be no more than 3000 words and should preferably be sent via email as Word attachments. Payment should be made via Paypal. If you experience problems, please email us and we'll do what we can to help.
One Entry
If this isn't possible, please type double spaced on one side of white A4 paper. Do not justify the text.
Theme is open, but no children's stories.
Your envelope should be large enough - the manuscript should be folded no more than once.
Your entry must be your own original work, should not have been published or be currently submitted elsewhere, and must not have won a prize in, or be currently entered in any other competition.
Your name must not appear on the manuscript. Please include a cover page with personal details, and an entry form where applicable.
Entries should be stapled at the top left hand corner, and each page should bear the story title and page number.
Each entry must be accompanied by a cheque for £5, made payable to 'Cadenza', and sent to the Cadenza address below.
If you require notification of results, please include either a small stamped addressed envelope, or your email address. If you would like confirmation of receipt of your entry, include a stamped postcard or your email address.
Please do not send entries recorded delivery.
